Annapurna Panorama, a fabulous trekking leads you up and downhill into enchanting forest of tall rhododendron and magnolia trees, in spring this whole areas turns into magic with wild flowers in bloom.

Beside mountains and lush vegetation walk leads into lovely Gurung and Poon  Magar villages of tremendous culture.

Our Annapurna Panorama trek starts and ends at scenic Pokhara city after a drive or flight from Kathmandu, walk leads on the mid-hills with daily views of snow capped peaks and incredible landscapes visiting rural farm villages with neat rows of terraces.

Finally our walk leads into beautiful rhododendron woodland at Ghorepani Poon Magar tribe village in the backdrop of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains, from Ghorepani an hour hike to Poon Hill for grand panorama of mountains with striking sunrise views and then concluding this wonderful trek with downhill walk back to picturesque Pokhara where this amazing Annapurna Panorama Trek starts and ends.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu 1,315m and transfer o hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03: Drive on tourist bus to Pokhara 820m – 06hrs.
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (trek point) with a short trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,440m
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,860m overnight in lodge – 06 hrs.
Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani 2,640m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Tolka 1,700 m via Ghandruk / Landruk – 05 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Phedi via Potana, Dhampus and drive to Pokhara.
Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu on tourist bus and transfer to your hotel.
Day 10: Final International departure homeward bound.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu after your international flight. 

On arrival in Kathmandu received by Nepal Holiday Organizer staff and guide for short drive to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city, where you will join with other members of Annapurna Panorama trekking, our guide or group leader will brief with information regarding trekking - hotels-culture with do’s and don’ts, includes welcome dinner in a nice and typical Nepali restaurant with culture programs.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning after breakfast our tour guide will receive you for sightseeing tour around interesting part of Kathmandu, as Kathmandu city a blend of modernization and old lively cultures where you can witness medieval period villages and way of life of the locals as it was for past hundreds of years. Kathmandu valley steeped with ancient history-old traditions full of world heritage sites of Buddhism and Hinduism temples / monasteries.

After an interesting tour afternoon free at leisure preparation for Annapurna Panorama trekking.

Day 03: Drive on tourist bus to Pokhara (8, 20m | 2,700ft) 200km - 06hrs.
Annapurna Panorama trek starts with an interesting and exciting overland drive on Nepal’s busy highway to reach at scenic Pokhara, journey leads past farm villages and towns with views of mountains. Drive finally reaches Pokhara and then transfer to your hotel near the pristine and beautiful Phewa Lake where most of the nice hotels are located. 


(Option by air takes 30 minutes of scenic flight to Pokhara with alluring views of mountains and landscapes)

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (trek point) with 4 hrs trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,440m
Morning a short drive of two hours to Nayapul to begin our trek passing lovely Bhirethati village located by Modi River, from here walk through farm villages coming across trekkers, mules and donkey trains, our route leads to farm areas and villages, waterfalls then reaching at Tirkhedhunga for overnight halt in a nice lodge after a pleasant day walks of few hours.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2,800m) overnight in lodge - 06 hrs.
Starting the morning walk with a climb on series of stone steps for an hour or more to reach at Ulleri village, a moderate size Magar village with typical traditional Nepalese style slated roofs built of mud / stones.

From here walk leads to a slow climb into pristine and cool rhododendron, pine forest area to reach Ghorepani village, located on a high ridge within beautiful rhododendron trees.

This village populated by Poon people of Magar tribe, famous and popular spot for Poon Hill view top which is an hour hike with a climb.

Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2,640m | 8,850ft) - 05 hrs.
Early before sunrise hike to the top at Poon Hill to catch the striking sunrise over range of Himalayan peaks of world 7th highest Dhaulagiri-10th highest Annapurna with range of peaks includes world 8th highest Manaslu with towering Machhapuchare peak “Fish Tail”.

After an enjoyable and exciting time with eye catching views from Poon Hill, head back to Ghorepani and continue uphill walk for an hour and then downhill into a gorge through cool forest to reach at Tadapani for overnight stop.

Day 07: Trek to Tolka 1,700 m via Ghandruk / Landruk - 05 hrs.
Morning catching super views of Annapurna with Fish Tail peak walk leads through lovely forest and then downhill on winding path to Ghandruk village for lunch with views of Annapurna South, Huinchuli and towering Mt. Machhapuchare “ Fish Tail” Ghandruk a large Gurung village, famous as Gorkha soldiers in UK and Indian armies, besides as gallant soldiers they are farmers and Sheppard’s of Tibetan Buddhist religion and origin.

After nice break at Ghandruk, walk downhill on stone steps reaching at Phedi between high hills of Landruk and Ghandruk near raging Modi River, from here after crossing a bridge a short uphill climb to reach another large village at Landruk. After a short rest with commanding views walk is easier on winding trails with few short and up and down to reach at Tolka village for overnight stop with grand views of Annapurna South and Huinchuli.

Day 08: Trek to Kande via Potana, Dhampus and drive to Pokhara.
After this nice pleasant village morning walk on gradual trail with few short ups and down, passing village Bheda Kharka, and then an hour or less climb into cool forest to reach at Pitam Deurali at 2,100 meters high, offering grand views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Huinchuli, Mt. Machhapuchare and of Ghandruk village.

From Deurali downhill through forest to Pothana village, here with short rest enjoying fantastic views of snow-capped peaks, continue our last day walk into cool forest with last down hill, a scenic and pristine spot located on large meadows with parallel views of Annapurna and Manaslu range of mountains.

Catching tremendous mountain panorama, our final walk leads downhill to Phedi for the drive back to picturesque Pokhara by the serene Phewa Lake after an hour of exciting drive.

Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus transfer to hotel.
Depart from lovely Pokhara for interesting and exciting overland journey to Kathmandu after a fabulous time at Annapurna & Poon Hill Panorama trekking, after six hours of nice pleasant ride reaches you at Kathmandu, then transfer to your hotels with afternoon free at leisure for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

Day 10: International departure for homeward bound.
Last day in amazing Nepal, a country of Himalayan wonders, as per your international flight time depart from the hotel where our staff transfer you to airport, after a great enjoyable and memorable time on Annapurna Panorama Trekking with quality services and guidance of Nepal Holiday Organizer.
