Everest) listed as world heritage site as well, walk leads to our destination at Tengboche Monastery located on a small plateau surrounded by lush green alpine tree lines with awesome views of Everest, Amadablam with other snow clad peaks, here enjoy a visit inside the monastery with young monks on prayer.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu 1,315m and transfer o hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.
Day 05: At Namche for short hike and acclimatization.
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche Monastery 3,867 m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek back to Monjo 2,880 m via Namche – 06 hrs.
Day 08: Trek back to Lukla – 04 hrs.
Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Day 10: In Kathmandu free day for individual activities.

Details Itinerary

Trip detail:

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu after your international flight.
On arrival in Kathmandu received by Nepal Holiday Organizer staff and guide for short drive to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city, where you will join with other members of Everest Panorama & Tengboche Monastery trekking, our guide or group leader will brief with information regarding trekking - hotels-culture with do’s and don’ts, includes welcome dinner in a nice and typical Nepali restaurant with culture programs.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning after breakfast our tour guide will receive you for sightseeing tour around interesting part of Kathmandu, as Kathmandu city a blend of modernization and old lively cultures where you can witness medieval period villages and way of life of the locals as it was for past hundreds of years. Kathmandu valley steeped with ancient history-old traditions full of world heritage sites of Buddhism and Hinduism temples / monasteries.

After an interesting tour afternoon free at leisure preparation for Everest Panorama & Tengboche Monastery trekking.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,886m & trek to Phakding 2,640m - 04 hrs
Morning transfer to domestic airport for a sweeping scenic flight of 30 minutes to Lukla, Lukla airport or Tenzing –Hillary Airport. This is one of the world’s most unique airstrips with ups and downs short runway, after a time for refreshment in Lukla, where your bigger baggage will be carried by our porters or loaded on Ghopkyo (mix breed of normal cow and yaks).

From Lukla our first day walk begins on gradual path with much downhill and short climb passing traditional Sherpa farm villages with views of snowcapped peaks.

After a pleasant walk reaching overnight stop at Phakding located by the glacier fed Dudh Kosi (river)

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs.

After a pleasant overnight with the sound of the river, morning walk leads following Dudh Kosi, crossing few bridges to reach at Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo village. From walk leads to last village of Jorsalle before Namche Bazaar walking on river bed and forested area.

After crossing the last high bridge few hours climb with marvelous views of peaks with Everest then reaching famous Namche Bazaar, here with two nights in this large prosperous trading town / village as well the main centre of Khumbu with facilities of ATMs, Cyber cafes, stores, shops, restaurants, banks and fresh bakery with a busy colorful Saturday market.

Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization.

Namche a perfect spot for rest and acclimatization day, this morning a leisure short hike up to park museum with full information from mountaineering, flora / fauna of the area with Sherpa culture and Buddhist religions, this scenic spot offers grand views of mountains Mt. Everest and stunning Amadablam. For energetic and interested can take few hours hike uphill to Everest View Hotel for best views of Mt. Everest and other mountains.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche 3,867m - 05 hrs.
From Namche Bazaar walk is fairly easy for first half with short descend to Shanasa and with more down-hill reaching at Phungitenga, a small place with couple of teahouses and Nepal Army barrack serving as park wardens located in the midst of alpine woods of mostly silver fir blue pines, rhododendron and some few magnolia and birch trees.

From here 2 hours of strenuous climb on the winding trail in the shade of lovely forest till Tengboche Monastery is reached for overnight stop. This beautiful spot offers views of the majestic beautiful peak Amadablam with Everest above Nuptse and Mt. Lhotse towards north east.

Day 07: Trek to Monjo 2,880 m via Namche Bazaar - 06hrs.

Morning walk a long descend to Imjatse River at Phungetenga, after crossing a bridge with short steep uphill and then with gentle walk all the way to Namche Bazaar, from Namche continue walk downhill to Dudh Kosi River, from here with short ups and downs to reach at Sagarmatha National Park to Monjo village for overnight stop in this nice village.

Day 08: Trek to Lukla - 04 hrs.
After an exciting and fabulous trek to Everest base camp, last day walk of this adventure leads on same trail with last climb to Lukla for lunch and overnight stop, afternoon free with last night dinner celebration with fellow staff-guides and members.

Day 09: Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
From Lukla an early morning flight to Kathmandu, sometime the flight time can delay due to bad weather conditions, as per your flight time board in a small plane for super, scenic flight back to Kathmandu, on reaching at Katmandu domestic terminal. Pristine Nepal guide and staff transfers you back to your hotels with afternoon free for individual activities.

Day 10: In Kathmandu for individual activities and optional sightseeing tour.
We reserve this day in case of flight delay and cancellation in Lukla, due to unfavorable weather conditions, if all runs well according to our itinerary days join for another optional sightseeing tour as Kathmandu is full of world heritage sites of historical monuments-enjoy the tour of Kathmandu old Durbar square, Swayambhunath the landmark of Kathmandu or visit Bouddhanath “Little Tibet”.

Day 11: International departure for home ward bound.
Last day in amazing Nepal, a country of Himalayan wonders, as per your international flight time depart from the hotel where our staff transfer you to airport, after a great enjoyable and memorable time on Everest Panorama & Tengboche Monastery Trekking with quality services and guidance of Nepal Holiday Organizer.
