Starting with an exciting drive through Nepal countryside past towns and farm villages to reach first at Bandipur, a hill town located in Tanahun district, southern corner of Gandaki zone, which is surrounded in Mahabharata range, situated south of Prithivi highway midway between Pokhara and Kathmandu.

From Kathmandu about 143 km west and a mere distance of 74 km south east of Pokhara and 7 km of south above form Dumre Bazar of Prithivi highway.

Bandipur is a small town full of cultural diversity. This town has ancient Newari culture and is untouched by modernization with an abundance of old traditional houses, temples of great significance and architecture.

This medieval era town boasts festival all year round, besides a plethora of cultural offerings. Neighboring villages like: Magar, Gurung, Brahmin, Chettri, Damai and Sarki all contributes for cultural diversity of region.

Bandipur is situated at central areas of mixed canopy of pine and Sal forest and lush terraced field’s offers a breath-taking Himalayan range from Langtang in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west.

After an enjoyable cultural and home stay at Bandipur, moving towards picturesque Pokhara by few hours of drive. This is one of the popular and famous touristic holiday destination in whole Himalaya and probably in the world.

Pokhara is blessed with natural beauties with high and massive Annapurna Himalaya and beautiful Mt.Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail’ that reflects on its serene of  Phewa Lake and Begnas Lake. Pokhara is also a fabulous spot where many Annapurna treks and adventure starts and ends. It has many other adventure sports activities like Paragliding-Ultra light flights and so on.
Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu 1,315m and transfer o hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03: Drive to Bandipur and transfer to home stay cottage.
Day 04: In Bandipur for local excursion.
Day 05: Drive to Pokhara -03 hrs journey.
Day 06: Morning drive to Sarankot for sunrise and tour of Pokhara.
Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Day 08: Transfer to airport for international departure.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu after your international flight.
On arrival in Kathmandu received by Nepal Holiday Organizer staff and guide for short drive to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city, where you will join with other members of Kathmandu - Pokhara and Bandipur Tour, where our guide will explain all  informations regarding tours - hotels-culture with do’s and don’ts, includes welcome dinner in a nice and typical Nepali restaurant with culture programs.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning after breakfast our tour guide will receive you for sightseeing tour around interesting part of Kathmandu, as Kathmandu city is blend of modernization and old lively cultures where you can witness medieval period villages and way of life of the locals as it was for past hundreds of years. Kathmandu valley steeped with ancient history-old traditions full of world heritage sites of Buddhism and Hinduism temples / monasteries.

After an interesting tour of afternoon free at leisure preparation for tour beyond Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Bandipur and transfer to home stay cottage.
Morning an interesting drive on the main Kathmandu-Pokhara highway overlooking snow capped mountain views in the contrast of rolling green hills and valleys, journey leads through many towns and villages following the glacial river Trisuli till to the town of Mugling where the road to Pokhara and Bandipur diverts, on leaving Mugling town heading towards west then reaching at Dumre town, from here a short uphill drive to beautiful Bandipur, after  reaching welcome with garlands and Khata ( silk scarf) by the locals and transfer to nice cozy cottage for overnight stay. In afternoon interacts with local and know about their rich culture and traditions.

Day 04: In Bandipur for local hike and visit walks.
Early morning hike for stunning sunshine and sunset view from the hill then return to cottage for breakfast and other interesting enjoyable day activities with afternoon free for walk around this beautiful village.

Day 05: Drive to Pokhara – 03 hrs.

Morning a scenic drive to Pokhara, after a wonderful memorable trip in the high hills of Bandipur, on reaching Pokhara transfer to respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure with short walk around Phewa Lake side.

Day 06: Morning drive to Sarankot for sunrise and tour of Pokhara.
Early morning our guide will pick you from your hotel for short drive  scenic hill to  Sarankot for stunning sunrise over chain of snow capped peaks from world’s 7th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m, 10th highest Mt. Annapurna 8,091 m and 8th highest
Mt. Manaslu 8,163 m including range of smaller peaks with ever present majestic Mt. Machhapuchare “Fish Tail” standing high at 6,993 meters.

Sarankot hill with an altitude of 1, 460 m high with breathtaking views of mountain range, including Pokhara green valley with Phewa Lake below, Sarankot is also a popular spot for paragliding which is one of the most active sports in Pokhara.

After a great exciting and enjoyable time return back to hotel by 8-9 a.m. for breakfast and other refreshment, our next tour starts with a short drive to Devi’s water fall with Gupteshwor Mahadev cave with lunch on route sightseeing places with tour of International Mountain Museum, recently added in Pokhara is the Mountain Museum the first of its kind in Nepal, established and built by Mountaineering Association (NMA),
on 1st  Nov 1973, initiated the establishment of International Mountain Museum (IMM) in Pokhara.

Late afternoon free for stroll around the lake side where most of the good stores and shops are located with excellent restaurants and hotels.

Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
After an enjoyable and great moment on Pokhara and Bandipur tour returns back to Kathmandu on the same route past Damuli near Bandipur following Trisuli River for some times and then back at your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 08: International departure for homeward bound.

After a most memorable experience on Kathmandu- Pokhara and Bandipur Tour, our staff transfers you to the airport for your final departure homeward bound.
