Langtang Valley Panorama Trek

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu after your international flight.
On arrival in Kathmandu received by Nepal Holiday Organizer staff and guide for short drive to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city, where you will join with other members of Langtang Panorama trekking, our guide or group leader will brief with information regarding trekking - hotels-culture with do’s and don’ts, includes welcome dinner in a nice and typical Nepali restaurant with culture programs.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning after breakfast our tour guide will receive you for sightseeing tour around interesting part of Kathmandu, as Kathmandu city a blend of modernization and old lively cultures where you can witness medieval period villages and way of life of the locals as it was for past hundreds of years. Kathmandu valley steeped with ancient history-old traditions full of world heritage sites of Buddhism and Hinduism temples / monasteries.

After an interesting tour afternoon free at leisure preparation for Langtang Panorama trekking.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,460 m - 07 hours.
Our wonderful journey to Langtang valley Panorama trekking starts with a morning drive towards high hills of Langtang to Syabrubesi, an exciting drive leading past many farm village and towns to reach warm areas at Trisuli bazaar. After a short break drive heads towards cooler area at Ramche and Dhunche town at 1,960 m, at the entrance of Langtang National Park Dhunche a major town of Rasuwa district and Langtang region.

From here drive leads downhill on the zig-zag winding road to end the journey for the day at Syabrubesi village for first overnight stop in Langtang area.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel 2,430m - 06 hours.
Beginning our first day walk with a climb for few hours heading towards scattered farm areas and villages, walk continues near Riverside and Bamboo place with few teahouses and lodges. After a refreshing break, our walk continues into cool forest of rhododendron, oaks and pines trees entering a gorge following upper Trisuli River, fed from the glacier of Langtang peaks, then completing the day walk at Lama Hotel for overnight stop.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village 3,430m - 06 hours.
After a pleasant overnight with the sound of the river flowing, morning walk starts heading uphill through a gorge of dense forest, then reaching a nice spot at Ghoretabla (horse stable), from here altitude gains slowly and air gets cooler.

After lunch break walk continues to Langtang village for overnight stop as the walk leads past woodland and then coming into a wider area at Lantang village, a nice moderate size village of Tamang and Bhotia’s tribe peoples. (This village and up to Kyanjin was completely destroyed by avalanche of 25^th April and 12^th May 2015 huge earthquakes).

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,870m - 04 hours.
Today on the trail and first highlight of the adventure, as the morning trek leads to Kyanjin Gompa at Langtang valley, walk follows with short steep up as tree lines drops for short bushes of rhododendron, juniper and prickly Burberry bushes.

Our walk slowly enters a wide beautiful glacial valley with views of high snowcapped mountains on both side of the valley, after a scenic and nice morning walk reaching at Kyanjin Gompa for overnight stop. Kyanjin located at picturesque Langtang valley with wide green meadows actually a summer pasture and grazing land for Yaks.

This lovely spot offers views of Langtang Lirung glacier and ice fall at close distance, Kyanjin named after a old Gompa (monastery) at present in near ruins perched on a rocky moraine ridge top, at Kyanjin visit Yak Cheese Factory established 30 years ago with the help and support of Swiss technical assistance.

Day 07: At Kyanjin Gompa rest and hike.

A perfect spot for rest and free day at Kyanjin, to enjoy the lovely surrounding, here take a short hike on top of Tsergo Ri at 5,033m for better views. Climb to Tsergo Ri with quite steep slopes offering fantastic panorama of surrounding mountains.

From Kyanjin hills and Tsergo-ri top super views of Chimsedang Lekh, and Kangjal Himal with ridge of peaks bordering the valley to the south, Naya Kanga 5,844m, stunning views of the great mountains flanking the Langtang valley, including Ganchenpo 6,387m, Dorje Lakpa 6990m, Pemthang Karpo Ri 6,830m, Langtang Lirung 7,245m and across the northern boundary in Tibet rises the huge massive Shishapangma 8,046 m the last world's 14^th highest mountain located wholly in Tibet.

Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel - 06 hrs.

After a pleasant and exciting overnight and rest day at Kyanjin and beautiful Langtang valley, morning walk leading to a long descend to Lama Hotel passing via Langtang village and Ghoretabla following Langtang Khola and back at Lama Hotel for overnight stop.

Day 09: Trek to Syabrubesi - 05 hrs.

From Lama Hotel, morning walk follows downhill to Bamboo a small place with few teahouses serving as lodge. After a nice short rest continue walk past farm terraces of millets, corns and wheat (depending upon season for crops), on leaving farm area with continues downhill to reach a bridge over Bhote kosi and then a short gradual walk back to Syabrubesi village for overnight stop, an interesting Tamang village.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus transfer to hotel.
Depart from lovely Langtang area for interesting and exciting overland journey to Kathmandu after a fabulous time around central Himalaya, after six hours of nice pleasant ride reaches you at Kathmandu, then transfer to your hotels with afternoon free at leisure for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

Day 11: International departure for home ward bound.
Last day in amazing Nepal, a country of Himalayan wonders, as per your international flight time depart from the hotel where our staff transfer you to airport, after a great enjoyable and memorable time on Langtang Panorama Trekking with quality services and guidance of Nepal Holiday Organizer.
