Day 01: Reach Kathmandu after your international flight.
On arrival in Kathmandu received by Nepal Holiday Organizer staff and guide for short drive to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city, where you will join with other members of Pisang Peak Climb and Trek, where our guide will brief with information regarding trekking - hotels-culture with do’s and don’ts, includes welcome dinner in a nice and typical Nepali restaurant with culture programs.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning after breakfast our tour guide will receive you for sightseeing tour around interesting part of Kathmandu, as Kathmandu city a blend of modernization and old lively cultures where you can witness medieval period villages and way of life of the locals as it was for past hundreds of years. Kathmandu valley steeped with ancient history-old traditions full of world heritage sites of Buddhism and Hinduism temples / monasteries. After an interesting tour afternoon free at leisure preparation for Pisang Peak Climb and Trek.
Day 03: Drive to Dharapani 1,860 m via Bhesisar - 07hrs.
Pisang Peak Climb adventure starts with exciting long overland drive to reach at Bhesisar a big and a headquarter town of Lamjung district. After Bhesisar taking another vehicle for the rough and interesting ride towards mid hills following Marysangdi River past Khudi, Bulbule, Nagdi villages to reach at Syange village.
From here leaving the river behind drive climbs on steep road to reach at Jagat and Chamje village and then on scenic road to Dharapani village for overnight stop where the air is cooler with alpine temperature. This nice village located on the mid way of Annapurna circuit and Manaslu route.
Day 04: Trek to Chame 2,670 m - 05 hours.
Morning walk leads along winding path into rhododendron and pine forest past Bagachap and Danque village, then steep climb of few hours to Timang village with super views of Manaslu-Lamjung and Annapurna II. From here onwards into more Buddhist culture country.
From Timang village downhill to Koto and then a short slow uphill to reach at large Chame town for overnight stop, Chame a major and headquarter town of Manang district.
Day 05: Trek to Pisang 3, 200 m - 05 hrs.
Adventure continues from Chame heading into cooler zone and closer to mountainous region, as the morning walk leads into lovely alpine forest of rhododendron and pine trees, following Marshyangdi River upstream with short ups and down hills to Bhartang village.
After Bhartang village on crossing a bridge over torrential Marysangdi River heading uphill through alpine woodlands with views of Chulu’s and Pisang peaks, then reach at a small settlement around Dukuri Pokhari for possible lunch stop.
Afternoon walk downhill to lower Pisang village for overnight stop after passing rows of prayer wheels with closest views of Pisang and Annapurna II peaks.
Day 06: At Pisang village for acclimatization and local hike.
Rest day at Pisang village for acclimatization and for short hike around this beautiful areas visit the Pisang Gompa located on upper Pisang with grand views of Northern Annapurna with Pisang and Chulus’ peaks.
Day 07: Trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp 4,380m - 04 hrs.
After a nice rest in Pisang village, our route heads north above Pisang village, as the tree lines drops for short few bushes around grazing land, called Kharka. Climb a high ridge above Pisang peak, our guide and staff will set base camp with camping equipments at 4,380 meters high, first night in tents meals prepared by our expert cook and kitchen staff.
Day 08: Trek and climb to High Camp 5,400 m - 03 hrs.
A short day but tough due to high altitude, morning walk follows a faint trail where few climbers and Yak herders hardly use this path to high camp, as the walk leads over rocks, ice and glacier to reach bottom of Pisang Peak where high camp is set for the climb.
Afternoon our guide will scout the area for safe accessible route to the summit fixing ropes and making ice ledges where necessary, High Camp situated on long ridge of Pisang Peak, under some conditions this area may be under snow, afternoon free to sort the gear with preparation for the climb.
Day 09: At High Camp for acclimatization and preparation for the climb.
A spare day for proper acclimatization and full preparation for the climb with practice climbing on nearby ice and glaciers, our expert guide will brief with necessary and important information and guidelines regarding next day early morning climb with safety measures.
Day 10: Climb Pisang Peak and return to base camp time permitting to Pisang village.
Our highlight and goal of this adventure, starting at dawn climb over moraine and rubble of ice falls, following our lead guide reaching high above on a well defined ridge towards last snow slope, leading quite steeply without any difficulty but with some technical sections and then climb all the way to Pisang summit with great help and support of our expert guide. On reaching the summit take a rest and admire the beautiful panorama of whole Annapurna Mountains and towards north and west Chulu range with Damodar peaks as well beyond Chulu peaks, view of Manaslu towards east horizon.
After being on top and highest spot at 6,091 m / 19,984 ft high, descent is made on the same route to base camp, as time permits and possible with physical strength after the climb descend all the way to Pisang village.
Day 11: Trek to Manang Village 3,540 m - 05 hrs.
From Pisang village with nice walk for short while and then a gradual climb into forest of pines and rhododendron to reach a small ridge with amazing views of beautiful Manang valley and mountains. After enjoying rest with the views walk downhill to Hongde village with a small airstrip , from here on tree lines fades to barren and arid dry terrain.
Trek with super views to Manang, on route visit old Braga monastery with old Buddhist relics and then an hour walk brings at Manang village for overnight stop.
Afternoon at leisure for short walk or just relax and enjoy the views of close snowcapped peaks
Around Manang villages houses are built in traditional Tibetan style and origin as Manang people with strong Tibetan influence including culture-Buddhist religion and way of life.
Day 12: Trek to Yak Kharka 4,010 m - 04 hours.
After a pleasant stop at Manang, morning walk leads to Ghunsang village with gradual climb to reach a small settlement at Yak Kharka, an interesting high altitude walk with super views of Gangapurna-A II with Chulu peaks, after few hours of scenic morning walk reaching at overnight stop at Yak Kharka. Afternoon enjoy the mountain views at leisure.
Day 13: Trek to Thorong High Camp 4,925 m - 04 hrs.
Morning as the air gets much cooler leading to higher zone on dry and arid country in between mountains around Yak and Yeti country, where rare Snow Leopard are seldom located on this remote and isolated areas.
Slowly after crossing a small Jurjung khola (stream) heading towards Thorang Phedi for short stop and to catch the fast breathing on this high altitude walks, after a fine rest and stop climb high above on steep zig-zag path for an hour or more to reach our highest overnight stop of the adventure at Thorang High Camp with 4,925 m high altitude.
Overnight stop at High Camp makes much difference to cross the high Thorang-la next morning saving energy and time.
Day 14: Cross Thorong-La 5,416 m and to Muktinath 3,760 m - 07 hrs.
After early breakfast walk follows with a slow climb to reach at Thorang-la on the winding trail to reach at the top of Thorang-la at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft highest spot of the trek beside the climb of Pisang Peak, from the top super views of Dhaulagiri-Thorang peaks and as far to Chulus and Damodar Himal of Mustang area. From here descend to another Phedi with few Tea-Shops and lodges, a pleasant walk of an hour reaches at holy Muktinath area for overnight stop after a tough and hardest day of this adventure.
Muktinath a holy place for both Hindus and Buddhists the word Muktinath literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’. Visit the temple premises with 108 holy water spouts with grand views of North Face of Dhaulagiri.
Day 15: Trek to Jomsom 2,720 m - 05 hrs.
From Muktinath, rest of the walks is easier with big drop of 1,200m as the trail descend to Kaligandaki river valley to reach at Jomsom, headquarter town of Mustang region with a small airstrip above Kaligandaki River, an interesting country walking on Kaligandaki River valley within dry and arid country with incredible views of windblown hills and canyons.
A pleasant walk of few hours brings you at large town in Jomsom the capital of Thakali people of Tibetan Buddhism sects.
Kaligandaki of lower Mustang area famous for delicious apples and its products, here celebrate with local apple products cider, brandy and juices. The area is also famously known as Apple Pie Trail.
Day 16: Fly to Pokhara and transfer to hotel.
Morning transfer to Jomsom small airport for short scenic flight to picturesque Pokhara valley, Pokhara with massive Annapurna Mountain views with serene Phewa Lake where our hotels located.
Afternoon free for individual activities and souvenir shopping or just relax and enjoy the views.
Day 17: Morning drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
After an enjoyable and great moment on Pisang Peak Climb and trekking return drive back to Kathmandu on the same route past Pokhara and Damuli following Trisuli River for some times and then back at your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 18: International departure for home ward bound.
After a memorable experience on Pisang Peak Climb and trekking around beautiful Manang valley with fabulous views of Annapurna Himalaya, our staff transfers you to airport for your final departure homeward bound.
